The Guy in the Knit Cap
Below freezing in Wisconsin means a knit cap, two hoodies, and mittens for the morning walk. Same guy. Warmer ears.
Well, we officially dipped below freezing here in Wisconsin.
Which means the flat cap has some seasonal competition.
I know. I’m known for the flat cap. But my ears have absolutely no interest in maintaining a consistent personal brand.
This morning’s walk required a knit cap, two hoodies, and mittens. Yep. We’ve reached that time of year.
The walk still happened. Getting outside before I settle in to work has become one of my favorite ways to start the day. It just takes a few more layers now.
So if you see me out walking and don’t immediately recognize me without the flat cap, it’s still me.

The guy in the hat is now, seasonally, the guy in the knit cap.
